Artizan to launch monthly coffee morning for Dumbarton
A Dumbarton shopping centre is gearing up to launch its very own monthly coffee morning next week with free crafting activities, children’s play area and refreshments.

Volunteers at Artizan Shopping Centre’s Community Hub are set to invite people from in and around Dumbarton to enjoy crafts and activities on various Fridays throughout the year to celebrate Mother’s Day, Easter, Spring and Father’s Day.

On Friday, 10 March, Artizan will officially launch the coffee mornings at the Community Hub with Mother’s Day-themed fun for parents and children as well as craft stalls, art exhibitions and refreshments between 10am and 12pm.

Stewart Gilmour, Operations Manager at Artizan Shopping Centre, said he is delighted to be introducing a monthly coffee morning to the people of Dumbarton. “We are hoping to see lots of shoppers coming along to the Artizan Community Hub over the next few months,” he said. ‘We wanted to create something new for the area, so we are extremely excited that our community coffee morning will be launching on Friday.

“Throughout the morning, visitors will be able to enjoy free refreshments, which are specially made by volunteers from the Community Hub, whilst they browse the art displays and crafts stalls. Plus, children will also be able to enjoy making cards for Mother’s Day, a toy zone and free colouring books to take home.”
